At any given time we offer a variety of soapstone.  Please check back often or feel free to contact us to find out when a new shipment of stone will be arriving. We will try and have new inventory monthly.  Each container that we purchase has over 40 slabs. So what you see here is just a few examples of the same variety of stone. Each slab is unique so we require that you personally come and pick out your slabs prior to installation. Each of our slabs are a standard 1 1/4" in thickness throughout the stone. We can special order thicker slabs upon request.

Black Venata Soapstone A classic traditional type of soapstone. This stone turns very black with oil application and will showcase prevalent and pronounced veining. This stone has the standard soft and silky texture.

Julia Soapstone A harder soapstone that has less talc content then the normal varieties. Does not form the patina as quickly but is a naturally darker stone. Has little to no veining and can have green swirls that turn darker over time. This stone comes in larger slabs. We also have a limited bundle of leathered also known as “antique or brushed” finished slabs.

Brazilian Black A harder soapstone that has less talc content then the normal varieties. Does not form the patina as quickly but is a naturally darker stone.
