Black Venata Soapstone A classic traditional type of soapstone. This stone turns very black with oil application and will showcase prevalent and pronounced veining. This stone has the standard soft and silky texture.
Julia Soapstone A harder soapstone that has less talc content then the normal varieties. Does not form the patina as quickly but is a naturally darker stone. Has little to no veining and can have green swirls that turn darker over time. This stone comes in larger slabs. We also have a limited bundle of leathered also known as “antique or brushed” finished slabs.
